Yunni is a pan-Andinean duo founded by Juan Esteban Parga and Nicolas Herlitz. These two musicians from Argentina and Chile, united by their shared love for music and the desire to blend electronic and rock influences, embarked on a journey to Berlin with the sole purpose of creating a musical experience that seamlessly combines their Latin American roots with a distinct European influence.

Juan and Nicolas are musically connected and share the same influences, such as Metronomy, The Strokes, and Justice. These iconic artists not only inspire Yunni but also serve as a motivating force, driving them to achieve success in their respective genres and fields. With backgrounds in the music industry, both Juan and Nicolas have a genuine passion for sound, reflected in their admiration for artists like Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, who have ushered in new sonic eras in music.

Collaborating on various productions, including their own music as well as projects for other artists in the local music scene, including SWEED, Luke Noa, the Latino pair honed their craft. Over time, a shared vision took shape, and after enjoying a good deal of success with their previous band project, Rash Caprino, as well as countless hours of music-making, touring and performing, they took the leap and formed their own project Yunni in 2022. The band serves as a platform to express their creativity and build their ideas into a symbiotic sound.
